Unless you go for a 'mini bride', then it's probably fine to have you both in white...! So far this has been my fianc!'s only suggestion towards wedding plans.. I clearly have my work cut out!

Ps. No offence to anyone who is actually planning on having a mini bride :-)
    whats a mini bride? x
I am not bossy I just have better ideas:p

Thanks Jenhug - I had no idea they did wedding dresses.. I like the lace effect, esp for covering up the tops of arms!

Still waiting for it to arrive, it's been dispatched so maybe tomorrow.

Bubbles - a mini bride is off My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. It's when you have a little bridesmaid who is dressed in exactly the same dress as the bride - it's incredible! We're not actually having one.. Needless to say after that suggestion from H2B I ruled out any possibility of goon on Don't tell the bride!

23rdspiral - there are some size 12's left I think, not sure if that's any good. I love the idea of a poofy skirt and a matching colours, a lovely way to personalise it..

AF2000 - do you know when your dress is being delivered? I'm dying to know if it's 'the one'!

The bm dresses that we ordered from BHS I think on Tuesday were dispatched on Wednesday and arrived on Thursday! Hope your dress comes soon...

I'm nosey and had a look, any excuse to look at dresses! The first Beatrice dress that came up (tried searching) was dark blue and I didn't like it. But the one (linky-ed above) is BEAUTIFUL.

    (Blue one): http://www.bhs.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=34096&storeId=13077&productId=5310392&langId=-1&categoryId=&parent_category_rn=&searchTerm=beatrice&resultCount=1

Wear what feels "right", don't worry about what other people think!

    Hi everyone,

They tried to deliver the dress today, but I was out at work so I have to rearrange a delivery!

Maybe it'll arrive tomorrow... fingers crossed. I will post an update once I've tried t - feeling quite nervous because I really want it to be right!

It's funny how a different colour can change a dress - I don't like it in the navy either!

    Hi everyone,

A quick update for you. The dress arrived this morning and with a lot of trepidation I ran upstairs and locked myself in the spare room to unwrap it...

And I LOVE it!! :j It is absolutely perfect! It fits brilliantly, isn't too tight anywhere and is exactly the right length! Hurrah! The fabric is lovely too... obviously, I haven't been to see any 'real' wedding dresses, but it seems to me you'd never know the difference.

Anyway, I am going to treat myself to some fabulous shoes, and am going to have a belt made for it with a lovely ribbon and maybe a corsage. I may add a petticoat underneath to puff it out, but to be honest I don't really think it needs it.

Thanks for all your input and support :D another job done!
