you could go in or phone before hand and say your budget so they can prepare a few in your price range first x

I did dream last night that I met up with the Duchess of Cambridge and was telling her all about the dress, and that it was similar to the one she had (!!). I loved Pippa's dress. though I agree it is a bold move going white!

The cost doesn't matter, it's what you want that matters.

Ah that sounds great. It's not that I"m opposed to spending loads of money on a wedding dress (if I had the money I'd probably go for a Stephanie Allin dress - her bridal shop is just around the corner from where my mum lives in Wales).

But as we are having a London wedding, I fancied something shorter (don't like the thought of a long dress rubbing along a grubby pavement!)... I will see what this one is like, what the quality is like... don't want to get my hopes up too far!

BUT if you're having doubts about not trying any on in a bridal shop, then I definitely would do that before the end of the return period. Are there any shops near you that sell end of line/ex-sample dresses?

I bought a high street dress that I liked but didn't love. Kept having nagging doubts about not having tried any "real" dresses on and in the end gave in and visited a local shop which sells ex-samples and nothing is over £500 (so I knew beforehand that if I fell in love, it wouldn't be the end of the world financially). I tried a few on and didn't like them, but then fell in love with the fourth dress
