Hi. I've gotten a netbook of someone and it's passworded, but the password is unknown:mad:.

Is there anything I can do?

Is it a BIOS password, or is it the Windows sign on password? Secondly if the latter which version of Windows?

It's a windows sign on password. It's windows 7 starter.

You will need another pc to download the software and to create the bootable disk.

Return it to factory settings. What's the make/model?

It's S a m sung n c 1 1 0 so no disk drive. I have no idea how to restore it to factory settings.

F4 on startup > Complete Restore.
