Thank you Lady Blackpool saver, that means alot.

He was offered 2 shifts yesterday 86 miles away, he travelled down, worked all night, did his usual sleep in the car, then McDonalds, watched a dvd in his car waiting for tonights shift, bored out of his head and nearest shop 5 miles away.

Only to be told at 4.30 pm that tonights shift has been cancelled until tomorrow :mad:

So he's come home to do it all again tomorrow. When looking at insurance surely they could take some of this into consideration but alas "No"

The cheapest I have got it now is £2.286.45, he's just working his butt off to pay insurance.

My maternal side is coming out now, anymore and i will be teary and that won't solve this flaming insurance.

This is because it is cheaper but he will spend a lot of time at his girlfriends house which is miles away. Does anyone know, can Insure the box tell exactly where you are when driving?

Yes, They will know the car is not parked at his address instantly..

Within a week the insurance will be voided or they will ask for more money. They may increase this to beyond the original quote. If you dont payup they cancel it then he will have to declare that for many years.

Insurance companies dont like people who try to cheat the system.

The black box has a GPS tracker. They know where it is 24/7 and his driving habits.

Read all the posts from people who didnt quite tell the truth and got their cars impounded. Or large bills after the insurers cancelled when a claim had been made.
