Where to sell used hand Man watches?

I bought my ex few watches when we were together, he left them with me when we broke up. Since it is kind of upsetting by seeing his stuff everywhere, wondering if there is any place I can sell them? I don't know is if ebay is a good option coz it seems the policy isn't really on the seller's site I don't really like to deal with possible "cheeky" buyers.

P.S. Those watches are mostly from SEIKO, a Japanese brand which you can get for around 400 quids from shop.

If you want the best prices though you have to put up with buyers. They're the people who buy them - you won't get the money without that ;). You do have certain responsibilities as a seller online - particularly describing the item properly and making sure it arrives in one piece with your customer - so by taking on those responsibilities, hopefully the reward will be worth it.

Also, the majority of sales go well on eBay - this is kind of eBay Casualty, where people come if things go wrong.

Describe everything accurately, take good pictures, offer a friendly returns policy and make sure you treat people buying from you with respect if they do have a problem - and that goes a long way to eliminating issues.

Otherwise you will probably get very little for them at a car boot sale or by selling to friends; that will eliminate most of the risk, but also most of the gain.

There are also a couple of watch related forums wherein memebers do buy and sell, might be worth looking at those.

tz-uk.com is one of them, can't recall the others off hand.

Wherever you sell, you will need to ensure you describe them accurately. I had to read your OP twice to work out what a 'used hand MAN watch' was.

If you let me have the model numbers and condition of them , I can give you a rough idea of what they are worth if you like, I'm a bit of a watch nerd ! You can search ebay for completed items too if you want an idea . With a lot of Seikos, the price on the high street is 2 or 3 times higher than they can be had from 'grey' importers such as creation watches based in Singapore.

I agree with what you said. I tried to sell it in local forum and facebook group looks like there is no one interested at all! tut tut. Well seems like ebay it is then! Wondering have you sell anything a bit expensive on ebay before? Would it be risky to post a watch through royalmail or shall I go for other carriers?xx
