Just in case anyone doesn't know

with a standing order your bank takes the money out of your account on the day you requested or the next working day if there is a weekend or Bank Holiday

with a DDR the bank of the company you have agreed to pay request the money from your bank and if its within the terms of the mandate you signed your bank will let them have the money but have no control when that is.

I'm carp at explaning things so hope thats not as clear as mud

its a small loan from natwest for my solar panels. the loan is from natwest. i dispise loans and wouldnt take one out, but i was £2000 short and the F.I.T deadline was fast approaching so took out a small loan, but this months payment has not been taken.

It's no doubt the backlash of the rbs group mess up. If its an natwest loan, and you bank with the natwest then just give them a call for peace of mind but I'm sure it will work itself out x

My first glitch was not a glitch as such but savvy couponing

Early in 2011 there was a £1.00 off Dove deodorant PDF coupon. At the time Dove deodorant was in T for £2.10 bogof. This meant that for weeks on end you could get 2 deodorants for 10p.

This was my first real stash which i am still using today

I don't actually remember my first glitch as such but I did cotton on to clubcard points quite quick and my first foray into 'Tesco'ing' was the odourless garlic tabs. They were 29p a tub I think andyielded 50 CC points (which of course was worth 2 quidin deals.

The real beauty of course was tesco taking coupons back then even if you didnt buy the product so basically a tray of 6 pots of garlic everyday free and 300 cc points. Repeat pretty much every day for the whole quarter.

Its the one thing I really really miss actually...humongous cc balances

The rule was, if they sold the product they would take the coupon, so you could buy Andrex loo roll and hand over a heinz tomato soup coupon

I would say I've probably saved myself £1,000 in the last 8 months + thanks to this site :eek::j:j:j dtd & jtd & coupons. It all builds up. My university weekly food spend was under £10 per week:eek: sometimes in positive figures:rotfl::rotfl::beer::beer:
