Any Slimming World peeps, can I ask, OH has just gone to his first meeting, I have told him not to buy anything in case it's really expensive. What is he going to need (in terms of books) and where can I get it cheap? :money::starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0

On the L'oreal front i am trying to think of ways to best utilise the new coiupons and price flop skincare coupon. For the wipes how about this
2 L'oreal re-nourish wipes @ £3.00 each = £6.00
- £1.00 price flop skincare coupon
- £2.50 L'oreal skincare coupon
- £2.50 L'oreal skincare coupon
= £0 to pay
These are currently £2.00 each at A so JTD for £2.00
I am sure that you savvy lot will find some other way to make use of these
ps sorry if somebody has already posted this as still playing catch up today0 -

what was your firtst glitch/bargain after joining the site, mine was the jelly/custard /rice pudding glitch;)
i remember it had been posted on the site for over a week before i was brave enough to try it. bought 3 jellies to try it out and then went back and bought 15 mixed. was shaking so much at self serve but what a feeling when i got home safely with my stash, kids thought i had gone mad as they were sat on display on the coffee table all night so i could look at them.
went back and got 15 more the next day as well it was unbelievable:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
been really dire on the glitch and coupon front recently, and i think it makes us all a bit tense but i'm sure there's a mega-glitch just around the corner:rotfl:
Nice topic!
I don't actually remember my first glitch as such but I did cotton on to clubcard points quite quick and my first foray into 'Tesco'ing' was the odourless garlic tabs. They were 29p a tub I think andyielded 50 CC points (which of course was worth 2 quidin deals.
The real beauty of course was tesco taking coupons back then even if you didnt buy the product so basically a tray of 6 pots of garlic everyday free and 300 cc points. Repeat pretty much every day for the whole quarter.
Its the one thing I really really miss actually...humongous cc balances0 -

I haven't bought any books sorryaboutmywife and I have been going since Jan and havent needed them. When he joins he will be given a pass code to get into the online site - he can find all the syn values etc there. However, if he does decide to buy any recipe books or food directories they are at least half the price at meetings than you will find on ebay. HTHMortgage Aug 22 £280,000
