Talking of films, I watched Sixth Sense with Bruce Willis last night (I mean I wish i was sat with Bruce Willis but he was only in the film and it was OH sat next to me instead :rotfl:) I've seen it once before but because I knew the twist at the end, it seemed completely different. I cried buckets, proper blubbering mess I was!! Going back to Bruce Willlis though...:kisses2: I wouldn't kick him out of bed for leaving biscuit crumbs

    Morning all

Just want to say how much i love this site and its very addictive :rotfl:

I have a quick question if anyone can help

What is tesco's policy on refunds if you dont have the receipt?

    Thanks

As answered above, if you return Ts own product they usually refund it onto a giftcard, but it takes 24 hours to activate! :(

If not Ts own brand product they usually allow an exchange for a product in same department. For example, I returned hugggies nappies without receipt and exchanged for pampers ;)

    Good morning

We brought the cheaper version from Lidl it was £11.49 for 70CL, I put it in the old Jack Daniels bottle and the wife never noticed any differnce, and i saved a fortune :)

My OH is a bit of a food snob so I bought Aldi's own brand Cheerios as a test and put them into a real Cheerios box. Neither my hubby nor my 2 yr old DS would eat them, said they were a bit cardboard like (they were in all fairness). I finally confessed to what I'd done but won't buy my cereal from there anymore. Cereal bars are ok though.

    Catching up now.
Thanks for everyone who wished me luck for my interview.
It is on Thursday & I'm getting more & more nervous.
I have not had a proper interview for a job I really wanted for 15 years (although I have had 2 jobs since that one).
What to wear & what to say when I don't meet some of the essential skills are my most worries.

Don't worry about matching essential skills to work related examples, often you can demonstrate this criteria through things you have done in your personal life, hobbies, dealing with situations etc. The important thing is to prepare by having examples ready so you can discuss them.
Happy to help if you want to PM me...I do this for a living ...interview people that is..I'm not a serial job hunter:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly! ;)

Another thing I can add is that most interviewers (correct me if I'm wrong woopisequeen) ask the questions "What would you say are your strengths?" and "what are your weaknesses?". That's the question most people get stuck on and stutter out some reply that does them no favours. Be prepared in case.
