they do lunchtime detentions so already happened, today
the school says it has a nil tolerance on name calling for any reason and its part of the agreement the pupils sign as he has admitted calling names he has broken his agreement so has to be punished. he should have reported the other boy.
the other lads punishment was 3 lunchtime detentions..

load of rubish if you ask me..

Total and utter crap. I'd take it further. Punishment is disproportionate and virtually rewards the bully for what he did.

He doesn't HAVE to be punished. Even the CPS don't always prosecute if they feel its not 'in the public interest'. Seems this school is petty, small minded and lacks backbone to deal with the real issue of the bullying.

I found these UK citizenship tests last night and although I scored 8/10 on the first, I failed the second with a miserable 46% !!

So when I am deported, I hope it is to somewhere hot and sunny.:D:D

30 mins then off home for my 6 week break! Can't come soon enough! Mind you the first week will be sorting and tidying so I can feel more relaxed about the place. Got 2 of the darlings occupied for the week and the wee one can do his few hours in nursery so may get some child free time. Doesn't happen very often. I think a celebratory tea out tonight is in order!
