Tell them to Foxtrot Oscar!
I would tell them your son won't be attending the detention and you'll be reporting their action to the governors.0 -

they do lunchtime detentions so already happened, today
the school says it has a nil tolerance on name calling for any reason and its part of the agreement the pupils sign as he has admitted calling names he has broken his agreement so has to be punished. he should have reported the other boy.
the other lads punishment was 3 lunchtime detentions..
load of rubish if you ask me..0 -

My answer is exactly the same as FK;)Something similar happened to my DS years ago and I told them he wouldnt be attending the detention and after a few letters and phone calls to the head of year it got sorted out. I took a lot for me to kick up a fuss as I know kids will be kids but that school will know exactly where the real problem lies..Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
