For anyone who wishes to pass on their speeds to their ISP, here is the website and speedchecker the ISP's use:

Use the test and put in your FULL phone number, including STD. The result will be passed to your supplier by the site. I have created a Table in Open Office, with dates and times, to record my own speeds and changes. If you experience issues, it helps you to help Tech Support solve problems.

When I had a problem, Orange told me to only use BT to do a speed test, but I have never been able to get the test to fully run, it always crashes out before the end of the test.
