just realised I put my post on the wrong thread...! oops0

Just applied, got an estimated £500 limit - timing should be just right for earning extra cashback once the initial 3-month 5% cashback period on my Capital One Aspire Mastercard expires at the end of July. :beer:0

They don't want people making too much cash back, obviously
From what I've read here everyone who's applied for the cash back card gets either a £250 or £500 limit, no more. Not yet, anyway...
Cashback is capped at £100 so there is no need for a massive credit limit as a £333 spend per month is all that's needed0 -

I read it as a question about making purchases, I don't see any mention of cash withdrawals.
Just adding some additional info which may be useful to others reading.
Did I do something wrong in that?
Is it just me or is it getting a little less friendly round here?0 -

I got offered £1600 which I think is the max?
I did check it had the 3% cashback and was the right card.0 -
Yes sure :-)

No you didn't do anything wrong but you don't come across as friendly in some of your posts. Not trying to start an argument.0 -
Pay off the balance early and you can spend 10 times that amount in a month
Often the limit remains even when early payments are made. That is, a £500 credit limit is the monthly statement limit, irrespective of 'early' payments.
AMEX and a few others definitely enforce this. Not sure about Aqua...Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!0
