What file was detected for the second one?

file:C:\windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS\FP00006.SPL - mse has quarantined it, I can't find it there at the moment, and virustotal can't see it either.

Maybe a False Positive. Lots of things creating those files.

No, this laptop is more facebook, spotify, and youtube.

Let us know if there are any more detections & post the mbam log if it detects anything. If everything is running ok then we can uninstall combofix.

A clean bill of health at last. I had to restart security centre services through services.msc, it had been set to disabled, and is now back to automatic.

Well if you're happy things are good, uninstall combofix.

Open a Run command box. (Start > Run or Windows key + R on your keyboard) and copy/paste this command in:

ComboFix /uninstall

Note the space between ComboFix and /uninstall , it needs to be there.

Click OK

let combofix uninstall itself.

No problem. Post attach.txt from when you ran DDS and we'll see if anything needs updating to help secure things.
