Isn't it that the resident parent can stay in the house without having to sell it until the youngest child reaches 16?If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in

I know this happened with my mum and dad, they were married though so don't know if this makes a difference.
They split when I was 8 and my dad tried to make my mum sell the house, eventually it went to court and my dad was awarded 6 grand (14 years ago), probably as he hadn't been paying the mortgage for the 8 years he'd been gone and as the mortgage wasn't yet paid up either.
