Does anyone know someone that will throw in free installation with a new bathroom?

You mean somewhere that adds the installation cost to the price of the bathroom fittings?

There is no such thing as free installation. Stop being silly.

bit harsh isn't it?! I've never bought a bathroom before so wondered if a store would include the plumbing as they would for a kitchen. A simple "no" would have done.

Businesses dont do things for free if they did they wouldn't last long so the price of fitted would be included in the price

A fitted kitchen would be priced with fitting you just wouldn't see that on bill

Why do you assume things are free. Businesses dont do things for free if they did they wouldn't last long so the price of fitted would be included in the price

because kitchens are offered with "free fitting". I know the cost is absorbed into the total fee of the kitchen and not covered by the company but I didn't think i would have to explain myself. Won't bother asking next time!

But kitchens aren't fitted for free. There is just a massive hike in the cost of the kitchen to cover it.

Fair play J. It wasn't fair to berate you that way as your response demonstrates you are not as cynical as many of us here... Without wishing to be rude, you are just a tad naive.

To get to your question. The simple fact of the matter is that no fitting can ever be free. Further, if it's offered as free you can be sure it will be thrown in from the street at best as they will want to keep costs down.

As a designer and installer, my honest advice to you would be to get some ideas of what you'd like first. Then call in some plumbers. Chose the person you FEEL most comfortable with; you'll know in ten seconds! Then work with them outlining your ideas and listening to what they have to say.

    Good luck.

lol some good advise there, but 10 seconds lol

Nothing is free cept the air we breathe, and they'd tax that if they could, but an offer of free usually has a big profit attached for the seller, (designer and installer), lol

10 secs is all the time we take as human beings to decide about someone... The rest of the time, say in interviews, is taken justifying our gut feeling. Fact.

Just one more thing. We don't always get it right, but 98% is a damned good average for anyone!
