To get to your question. The simple fact of the matter is that no fitting can ever be free. Further, if it's offered as free you can be sure it will be thrown in from the street at best as they will want to keep costs down.

As a designer and installer, my honest advice to you would be to get some ideas of what you'd like first. Then call in some plumbers. Chose the person you FEEL most comfortable with; you'll know in ten seconds! Then work with them outlining your ideas and listening to what they have to say.

It's easy to forget that some people are simply asking questions and not trying to get their 'view' validated.
