    Morning Bitsy and all,

I'm trying to work out if its a tumble dryer day today. Ive got mountains of washing after the weekend and it is pretty sunny but its pretty wet out there. I might just chance it.

I must admit ive not long got up. Dog woke me up at 5 to be let out and i struggled to sleep after. Finally dropped off just before hubby went to work, in fact i dont remember him getting up to go to work.

Just the usual jobs to do today plus ive got a doctors appointment at 5. The tablets he gave me last month still havent lowered my blood pressure.

Oh well, i'd best run my bath and get started on the day.

Best wishes to all and i hope you have a stress free day. :)

    Morning everyone,

Bitsy hope DS hearing test goes well.

Topsy positive vibes for the job.

Redruby hope that you get your ear sorted out, ear infections can be horrible.

It is lovely and sunny here today and I managed to squash 2 loads of washing on the line before I came out this morning.

DD2 returned from her netball tournament last night, she had a wonderful time and her tean did really well. I received an e mail from her coach this morning to say that she had been awarded most improved player so she is really pleased.:D

Tonight there is dancing for DD1 and more netball for DD2.

Tea will be something made with the left over chicken from last night.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

Bitsey hope you feel better today. Love the picture of the campervan!

Redruby hope you get your earache sorted today.

Dazi love your conversion-I don't think we are that clever to be able to do that.

Well my bedroom is being skim plastered as we speak. Eek I might have to go out for a bit...............We are a bit upside down as you can imagine, but DS is on holiday so we are sleeping in his bedroom.

Tea is the rest of the cottage pie I made yesterday and there is still some gooseberry crumble left.

Just off to do some washing.

    Have a good day all

Just popping in to send hugs to all

Redruby - hope your ear feels better soon

Meanmarie - Belated birthday, you really do 'sound' so much younger

Tru - I would have had undignified heebijeebies at strange bodies. However evil cat would have probably got there first. She would not have had heebeejeebies. She would have certainly been the cause of them!

:o Again no old style today - I need to clean the study out as OH has decided to write a book and needs a clear environment. It is a good shout for me, but a big challenge, there is a lot of stuff and I have no idea what half of it is. Plus I sleep there these days, so fold out bed and bedding. I shall be trying to sneak in some clothes sorting again tonight, however, as I want to try and pursue that to get it cleared, also I am at a sort of point that if I carry on quickly it will get a lot better but if I leave it it will get a lot worse. Also tomorrow is the best chance of a decent drying day for some time, so I need to make space for all the ironing that a day full of washing will cause. There is still a massive backlog - I could iron all week without finishing it :(:o

    Cheese soup for tea tonight.

Morning all, envious that quite a few of you have sun,its still dull, grey and cool here, though it was the same yest.morning and did improve later.I'm late getting going today as my ex Sis IL rang me (I wasnt even dressed from my shower -hair dripping)nothing urgent, just returning a call.45 mins later and Leodog is crossing his legs waiting for his walk,&my hair had dried into a frizzy mess:D

Got loads of ironing to do,and tidying after the weekend but not much planned after that.I might chuck a few things out-reading the hoarding thread makes you think.

Tea tonight, prob roast chicken,DS2 will have the turkey he didnt eat yesterday-suddenly decided to go to the pub to watch the match so just had a sandwich.I didnt make a cake, made pavlova instead as we had strawbs and blueberries in.Used a nigella recipe for mini pavlovas-it said it made 18-I halved the recipe but still got loads from it,so we'll have to have it again tonight :D

Bitsy-glad youre better, that camper is fabulous, red is my favourite colour too.We did have chance to buy one a few years ago,one of DH customers had one in her garage, all original, and she would have sold it to him-we just didnt have enough cash at the time :(,anyway it was there another couple of years before she did sell, and when he saw her again she'd sold it to a garage who didnt give her a lot,and we could have managed what it went for-ah well
    Dazi-ooh food for thought there!
Ruby-hope you get your ear sorted, ouch.
Skintyetagain- the pineapple pud sounds yummy, and its not daft to be pleased, anything that gives you a boost is good.

Hope you all have a good day x

    Morning all

Bitsy - glad you are all better
BB - love that pic! mmmm ice cream

All this talk of camper vans is making me jealous. I really want one but have no money to buy one. However my brother has just bought a van to convert so I'm hoping I'll be able to borrow it once or twice ;)

Still got the blasted cough, though it appears to be better today.

In work today, no work kids for pretty much 3 weeks as they are on work placement :j :rotfl:. However I have lots of paperwork to be doing :(. College this evening, but we are only in for an hour or so to get our assignments set, then we break for summer til Sept.

OS wise - dishes to wash, recycling put out, veggie hot dogs for tea so took rolls out of freezer this morning.

    Have a good day all

    ps.

I am in tears (good ones), I have just received an email from a mother of one of my ex-work kids. This one was one of my favourites, he was a fab kid but was suffering from crippling depression and low confidence. He did so well on our course last year, got a job as a result of his work experience, went on to college as a result of discovering he wanted to do my job (!) and has been working as an ambassador for our charity for past year. His mum has said that without my help and support she does not know what would have happened to him, and she is so glad of all the help I gave him. It's a really long email that she must have taken so much time over compiling. I have done this job for 3.5 years now and very rarely do any parents even say thanks, let alone go through this effort. It has really touched me. :)

    Morning all,

hope everyone is as ok as possible. No access to pc as not at work from Friday so haven't posted.

Friday was spent shopping with dd3 as she wanted a couple of things and I ended up buying a new dress, a long one which I wore to a wedding on Sat. Was highly embarrassed at the registry office because both my high heeled wedges (which I hadn't wore for a while) decided to split so I had to ask the registrar for some sellotape to make a drastic repair! :o. Kept to the back of everyone after that and no dancing at night. I was mortified. Shoes went in bin immediately I got home. But the wedding was lovely, so down to earth and welcoming.

Sunday was lovely and sunny so got the inflatable hot tub set up for first time and filled. Now I need another nice day at home to get it warmed up enough to get in. Mind you, I may have a situation if we do switch that on because I had a bit of trouble yesterday which really left me feeling so angry and fed up. I live next to a public right of way unfortunately and kids start to congregate there now. Well over the last few months I'm getting eggs and stuff thrown at my windows and if I ask them not to do it, I get a mouthful of abuse. I'm fairly wordly so things don't shock me but the abuse and comments that come from these kids mouths is unbelievable and they aren't youths, must be under 14 or thereabouts. The police are not interested at all. I actually got to the point that I wanted to get hold of them myself and I felt so frustrated, I wanted to just cry. Its getting so that I hate living here and wish I could move but that unfortunately is not a choice I have. I can just imagine what will be said if that is switched on, it feels like I don't have the right to enjoy my property anymore. :(

Anyway, os matters, did all the washing over the weekend and that just needs ironing tonight. Shopping done and only spent £25 as just bought what we needed. Bad mark to me, I found a welcome message written in the dust on the sideboard this morning. :o

    Have a good day all.
