morning again, lads have now gone to school, just catching up with some post then going postbox via clothes bank and bottle bank to do some de cluttering along the way. wm is on cooker hob has been smeared with cleaner going to finish that when i get back. rang dad last night as id hear his brother (my uncle is very poorly) i knew theyd had a big fallout a few years ago but wasnt sure what terms they are on now. heard via my mum he has a tumour so thought dad would need to know. spoke to step mum shed heard dad talking to uncles wife and guessed something up so is going to ring herself. isnt life complicated when parents split up and dont get on so you have to walk on egg shells just to communicate with people.

My lovely deceased neighbour's son and family have finally arrived here, after a battle to get their visas, so finally there will be a funeral, her OH was holding off till all the immediate family were here. He says it will be good to get it done and give her a good send off. Then he went on to tell me he now doesn't know what to do with his life..........I was at / still am a loss as to what to suggest at such a time.........

    Have a good day xx

    Hi all,

Welcome to all newbies, new babies, and returners.

Kaz I don't think you can suggest. I am at 7 months now (how the devil did that happen?) and I don't have a life (unless you count here??? Maybe he should be a flymister?) there is no rush to find a purpose, just take some time out to grieve properly. That's his only job, once the funeral and any paperwork is sorted. There is time for a life later, when the shock wears off.

Well I am pleased as I left two big boxes of green bin stuff next to the full green bin, and the recycling wagon has taken the lot! Saves a trip for me, and frees up a little space in garage.

Both bins empty. But for how long?

Working from home today, done loads so far. Wm on but nothing else houseyattempted yet. Head still hurts but have only had 3 antib's so far, so fingers crossed.

Mums with new babies - please do not attempt the whole lists, you are still recovering and your babies need you!

9 months counts as new doesn't it??? :D

Not much done today - it was school sports day so I went for a while but left before it finished :p

On the list I have swopped HH mending to HHI as I have some left to do and no mending :D Also, no plants so I don't have to worry about that either.

Extra things i need to do today are:
    poo patrol in garden
    mow lawn
    Pack more stuff for trip
    Go for a run....

i know its upsetting for you and her being in hospital PP but she sounds poorly and will get hopefully treated and rested if she stays put. i hope she makes a full recovery and is allowed home soon.

just going to grab a coffeee and blitz the lounge, ive just cleared the sock bag - well about 11 odd socks left and once laundry basket is cleared they are being binned if their mates dont turn up.

Mrs MP .. I think she is better off there at the moment but that doesn't mean they are not useless.. they put off stuff they know has to be done.. why have they waited 3 days to do a transfusion when she needed it on Saturday? She was after discharging herself yesterday. She is just upset because he is off work this week and next and she wants to be at home to spend as much time as possible with him before he goes back. He works nights so sleeps all day so she won't see him much until he starts days which is not for ages.

She probably won't believe you but she will feel better if she does something practical. Is she finishing school for good or just for the summer?
