Why don't you monitor your own usage for another month? There are numerous free programs around to enable you to do this.

Really? What are they out of interest?

Perhaps my sarcasm wasn't clear enough.

My point, just to be clear, is that there is no software that you can install on your 'PC' that can monitor your total usage because to accurately record your WAN data you need to place the monitor at your firewall. Unless your firewall / router includes this functionality, then no amount of these pointless monitors will serve any accurate purposes.

If your router doesn't reboot/reconnect then the stats will usually show cumulative usage. Record the data on one date, then record again 1 week/month later. The difference will be the REAL usage through your connection. :)

I have the 10GB limit, too.

Log in to bt.com , click on My Services, then Broadband. click on View your Broadband Usage

There is a bar showing how much you used,
and how much remaining, up to midnight yesterday.

"At 23:59 on 29/06/2012 you had used 2.0 GB of your 10 GB usage allowance.
Your average monthly usage is 2.1 GB."

Not that hard to keep track.
