Mine was the Quadra edged Duropal, cut in a curve and then matching edging stuck on. Looks great as the kitchen fitter blended in the join of the edging and you have to look very closely to be able to even tell it's there.0

We have a local forum for the town where we live, on there is a restaurant recommendation section and a good percentage of positive reviews are for one very good restaurant, I would probably say the best in the town. There are a few local forum members that think this is wrong and blame the owner of the restaurant, they say this section of the forum has just turned into a constant advert for this restaurant and the other local restaurants don't get a chance. How ridiculous is that? Its like saying they are too good when surely its for the others to up their game and then maybe they will get more good reviews.
I have said this many times before on this forum and I will say it again. We don't want to sell German kitchens by choice, we would want to do an English make, after all its by manufacturing stuff and exporting it that will help to get us out of this recession. The problem is I believe there is not an English kitchen manufacturer out there that can do all that our main German supplier can, with the same level of service, quality of product, choice, marketing support and value for money. Until there is we will have to stick to our German supplier as we have to put quality over patriotism.

If its the restaurant customers saying how good the resturant is its not a problem. If its the restaurant owner constantly posting how good his restaurant is Id agree its not right0

Also if you started selling an English kitchen I imagine you would promote that kitchen make constantly as well.
You obviously have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to kitchens. Its just a shame you use it to promote your business imo0 -
OK Steve, so actually its not the German thing then, you just think I am on this forum to promote my business then? I am sorry if you think that, its certainly not my intention. Sure 95% of my posts are kitchen related, as that's what I know about, but my intention is always to give a knowledgeable, balanced and honest response.
Hopefully the majority of forum members would agree with my perspective on this.

Steve - lets not make it personal. You have been promoting DIY-kitchens which is presumably where you source your kitchens. CKDesigner and I source our German kitchens from specific suppliers and very seldom have we mentioned these specific makes. We're both of the opinion that on average most German kitchens are better than their counterparts.
Just to put more perspective on your allegations about us promoting German kitchens- I sell a range of English kitchens. This manufacturer sells traditional as well as modern/contemporary including handleless kitchens. Their traditional range is really nice, design driven and very innovative and I promote it strongly.
On the other hand their modern range isn't a patch on their German equivalents (and English kitchen specification is on par with the best manufactured English kitchens). Try and explain this to me - it costs more then its German counterpart on a like for like spec. Now why on earth would anyone want to buy something that isn't as good and costs more? Give me one instance where you would spend your own money buying goods of a lesser standard for more money? I wouldn't and as a responsible retailer I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.
Like CKDesigner, I am putting out an open call - provide me details of an English manufacturer who can do everything our German supplier does (quality, flexibility, accuracy and timeliness of delivery etc) at the same price point and I will seriously consider switching. We’ve had to remove your signature. I sometime recommend diy as they have a good range of doors and their cabinets are really good quality and they are a good price. As for supplying them no I dont0

Where do you source your uk moderns from??
I do bespoke made to measure lacquers in any finish and still shave 1000's off the german stuff ive had to price against.
Its shocking knowing that a uk off the shelf is more than a german off the shelf0
