I've been reading up on this and according to the law it would be their responsibility to show that they informed me that they would not be reliable for lack of service, apparently verbal contracts are very tricky things to enforce as all terms and conditions need to be agreed upon at the time the contract is made.
In order for a verbal agreement to be legally binding the agreement must have reached completeness. This means that all terms and conditions have been reached and agreed regarding services and terms of pay

However in this instance the terms and conditions were not completely agreed upon. All I agreed to was the cost per month, I don't think I even agreed to a term

Also it is within my own home that I am receiving problems

As its a service agreement, as soon as you entered the sim card and connected to the network you agree to their current terms and conditions.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Basically a lack of signal in my house is the main cause, they provided a signal box to overcome this, but its not compatible with my isp.

I fail to see how. More like you can't set it up.

Like I said, no mobile network guarantees a signal indoors. It's a MOBILE phone. It's portable. It's also expected that you have a landline at home.

It's in the terms and conditions of most providers that they don't guarantee coverage indoors. Sorry.
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

More to the point they dont guarantee coverage at a location indoors or out. When I travel around I find blackspots even in large towns/cities.

    Hi yusuo,

Firstly, I am sorry to hear about your recent experience when speaking to our Customer Service team. I can understand that this must have left you feeling very frustrated.

We do record our calls so if you would like to email me via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject, I will happily request this.

When taking a contract out, we do provide a seven day cooling off period in case you change your mind or come across any issues such as signal. We provide a coverage checker online here and the terms and conditions are always available here.

We would not usually allow customers to terminate a contract on this basis but I will be happy to look into the details of the conversation you had.

    Kind regards,

    Heidi
