It is coming up to that time when the vast majority of people go on their summer holidays and as is their want and right if they are smokers will take advantage of cheaper prices abroad.
I am sure there are people on here who have been stopped and had their legally bought goods taken off them and in many cases at Dover even their car.
What i would suggest doing before you go abroad is get yourself acquainted with this site below and know your rights to not get robbed and lied to;
http://nothing-2-declare.blogspot.co.uk/
You will find on there very very interesting information what the powers that be don't want you to know about. Read the site and inwardly digest the information to protect your legally bought and taxed goods. The guys on there have put all the info together to give the average travelling citizen the knowledge they would normally have not known about.
Before any anti smoking zealot starts on how bad smoking is and we must protect the children i am not interested with your view points. I am interested in law abiding citizens protecting their rights to buy legally bought goods abroad and enjoy them when they get them back home without being robbed.
No doubt some of you on here have had your legally bought goods taken off you because you didn't know any different, you do now.
Well done SH and Zaphod.

Don't make the same mistake as this person. 5,000 cigarettes for personal use. lol
Turkey is not in the EU. If it was an EU country then you can bring in as much as you want for your own personal use.
Have a look at the video on the website where 30.000 were brought in and not robbed off them.0 -
I'd be careful relying on that site. The quick look i've just had I have seen two obvious errors. Telling the HMRC that's you know you're right because you read it on some blog wont hold up.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Had to chuckle! Its not some big secret!
As long as you can prove to a customs officer that they are for your own personal use, then theres no problem!
Before a customs officer makes any decision on seizing the cigarettes, you have an interview where you get asked questions to establish if the cigarettes are for your own personal use or being purchased for a commercial use.
Not rocket science really!0 -

I have been with the lads who run it and you obviously have not read the site.
