    A sprayer is not the best person for this, you need a specialist wheel refurb shop, or it will be another forecourt tart up.
    A proper refurb should last about 5 years if you keep them clean, far tougher than most original finishes.

    cheers, already got the company who i want to do the work. my brother used to use them and i think there involved with the Honda and Ducati World Superbikes

    thought i'd let you know what happened as i took my car into ford today. somebody from the bodyshop came out, had a look said it shouldn't have flaked so quickly and that they will sort it out. so just got to find a date when they can have the wheel or car..

    am certainly happy now :j

    They'll probably end up doing another SMART repair which may last another 6 months or so. Insist they do a full refurb.

    There is a World of difference between respraying wheels and refinishing/refurbishing them.
    One you can do with the tyres still on, and the proper job needs bead blasting, priming and possibly electro coating.
