    Thank you.

You live and learn I will be doing that in future but as i have only just started selling on Ebay I thought I was doing right thing by trying to keep buyer happy and he had won so felt obliged to go along with his request. It won't happen again if I use Ebay for selling again at the moment its put me off totally.

Hi sorry, I meant to reply to you, but quoted someone else.
  • I did call and speak to someone and he was pretty useless just said email him again ask him to pay again and arrange a new collection date. When said he has been refunded he just kept saying discuss with the buyer and sort it out.

He completely ignored the fact that the buyer has become abusive and threatening.

The guy has his money back, just ignore him from this point forward. Add him to your blocked list and ensure that he cannot message you. Keep the e mails just in case - it's probably nothing to worry about though. If he negs you go back to eBay, explain that he contravened the terms of the auction and then threatened to leave you a neg if you did not comply with his request. You have got fairly good grounds to have it removed. Stay calm, I doubt he is going to come all the way from Manchester to your address.
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

  • Thank you all for your help, yes I have blocked him as a bidder now and am just going to ignore everything from him, if he leaves bad feedback I will speak to Ebay again and see about getting it removed.
  • Have had a couple more messages from him reminding me he has my address I've just ignored him totally.

Tonight he left me feedback. I had to laugh at the fact he left it as a positive (his English is very poor and don't think he knows what positive/negative means) he has given me only 1 star though for the 2 points he could when every other star I have received has been a 5. (I have sold so little I can work it out) but his wording is 'Beware of this seller got mentle problem' another spelling issue I think. Ive just replied to the feedback keeping calm stating Collection in person item wanted me to box up and wait in all day for courier.

I spoke to Ebay and can get the feedback removed if I complete a False/ Defamatory form but not sure I will bother especially seeing as form has to be printed completed and scanned and my scanner is playing silly devils.

He is obviously a lunatic. He is blocked from bidding now but leaving it so can recieve messages from him as have stopped worrying so much about him and would rather let him know am just ignoring him. I've also kept a note of his address just in case he tries using a different account to buy anything else I sell.

Thank you all for your help and advice.

As he's left a + I wouldn't have left follow up FB, as that will stand out whereas a positive won't.
Hopefully that will be the end of it.
