Problems with Postage in eBay Checkout

similair but possibly unrelated to this problem -
Had an international buyer last night on an item that I had not selected international delivery on. They completed paypal checkout and as there was no amount specified for international delivery they hadn't paid any!
Have negotiated successfully with the buyer in regard to this, but is this part of the same problem?
Am puzzled how they actually managed to bid? especially as there ebay account had an american address and their paypal delivery address was in denmark!
Needless to say I had to reject the paypal payment as it offered no seller protection as the buyer was sending to an unconfirmed address! Nice buyer has sent me the funds now by IBAN/ international bank transfer so just have to wait and see if this arrives ok!Do You Twitter?
