hi my partner is due an upgrade on orange she wants new samsung s3, she found a couple of good deals online through moneysupermarket and mobiles.co.uk T-mobile £26 a month free phone 600 mins unlimited texts and 250mb.
She rang Orange to see if they could offer her a deal but cheapest they could do was £36 a month with free phone, asked to be put through to cancellations but they still couldn't help wouldn't offer anything and shes just cancelled her contract form 3rd of August.
She's been with Orange for over 6 years why cant they offer her a deal?
We are a little unsure if she will be able to get another contract as she is currently on a DMP so not really sure what to do.
Any thoughts welcome

I think a £500 latest phone (or a 'free' one on an expensive contract) is the last thing that a person on DMP needs. Tell her to keep the old phone and to switch to a cheap sim-only or PAYG deal for at tenner or less.smithers1981 wrote: »We are a little unsure if she will be able to get another contract as she is currently on a DMP so not really sure what to do.

I had the exact same problem, with t mobile, I canceled and reordered that mobile.co.uk deal. Apprently since the orang and t mobile merge, they both offer rubbish upgrade deals on the s30

I have had a similiar experience with vodafone in that they are not offering any deals on the S3. I got my pac code on the 8th June. They contacted me on the 11th June and I was cut off due to a poor signal. I have heard nothing since - no call from retentions - maybe its because I told them I wanted an S3.0

It's hard to negotiate deals on the latest release that everyone wants... I suppose they figure if you leave plenty of others will sign up because they want it.0

Just leave and sign up again through a third party and get a much better deal0
