Hi everyone.....
i am desperate for some advice.
I have'nt had a car for over 2 years because i could'nt afford to run one.My last insurance policy ended in August 2009,i had over 11 years no claims bonus
I purchased a car at the beginning of June and was led to believe that the co-op accept no claims bonus for up to 3 years.
So i purchased cover with them after speaking to an advisor on the phone.I then duly sent my last letter dated August 2009 confirming my 11 years no claims discount.
I have just came home to find a letter from the co-op(and i cant call until tomorrow)saying that they will not accept my no claims discount.
Have i been done over here or missing something?
When i cancelled my policy in 2009,i got a refund because i had only run that policy for(i cant remember)3 or 6 months,up until then i had been insured without a break for years.
Any thoughts?
Regards.
