Horse on dual carriageway = smashed windscreen!

I once stopped on an A road where the limit was 40, because of about 8 ponies loose on the road. Even though a horsebox had stopped and was trying to get the ponies back in their field, no other drivers stopped, and were trying to weave their way between the horses. I put on my hazard lights, and swung my car across the road so that nobody could get past until we had got the ponies safely off the road. The other drivers were being stupid and cruel.
The only time my horse ever played up on a dual carriageway was, when in the central bit (a bridleway went across the carriageway), was because his legs got caught up in a discarded chewed up cassette tape.
When I rode I was cut up badly by so many drivers- dont miss riding at all now.
Why cant you stop if you see a horse- aren't cars supposed to travel a safe distance apart?DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0 -

Hit a heavy animal fast enough and it will crash the windscreen and fly over the top of the car landing behind it.

Its quite possible to do both if you know the roads well enough.
So you're psychic and or know all the movements of the local livestock by heart :TPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
