my husbands visa restricts him access to any kind of public funds any cliam of tax credits housing benefit or jobseekers etc from either of us would voilate his term s of stay!0

don't want to get anyone into trouble here but they never took me to court in 7 year's, and also they cannot turn off your water if you have any children under the age of 5 year's old, also most water board's have a scheme for hardship families which reducies the amount you pay, check out your local water boards website and apply for hardship,

Are you a british citizen or "settled in the UK" How long have you been married ??? If you have been married for 2 years I believe that your husband can apply for "settlement" himself. If he gets this then you would not be tied to the Visa restrictions and could claim tax credits etc.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes
