Used Car Issues
Comments

The rear brakes (discs and pads) need replacing.
A tyre needs replacing.
The exhaust needs replacing as 2 brackets (front and back) have failed and Peugeot only sell it as a whole unit.
The "Air Box" is broken
The Wipers (front and rear) need replacing.
The ANC (no idea what this is) Belt needs replacing.
all wear and tear and or possibly operator error
best of luck with your claim
maybe next time have an independent inspection if unsure how to check basics like windscreen wipers and tyre things
i could do you a 144 point inspection and test drive for £100 so im sure a local garage could too0 -
Most used car dealers are well dodgy. I know someone who traded in their car few weeks back as it had a cracked manifold and loads of other underlying problems. Although it still ran. The said dealer put it up on their forecourt the same day. I doubt any of the problems were fixed.0

yes quite true
how is your new safe exhaust?:D0 -
Just to clarify, you went to one dealer and bought an unwarranted, unserviced car a couple of months ago, and now rival dealer tells you that you have to spend a lot of money on it. Why not go for a hat-trick and see if another Pug garage is quiet too?0

True. To be honest I was in a complete rage when I first found out, hence I took their word as gospel, now I have had time to sleep on it, that sounds like a possibility. I am having my friend give it the once over to make sure it is as bad as Peugeot says.0 -
£43 for windscreen wipers??
For that money, I'd want Daniel Craig in his undercrackers, wiping my screen with a chamois made from the hide of a sacred cow.
