Easy Jet Priority Boarding

Have booked return flights with Easy Jet on which priority booking is £45 for 2 passenger return flights. Never flown with them before so can anyone tell me is it worth paying this extra cost or should we risk taking our chances on getting 2 seats together.

Advice will be very welcome from anyone who has flown with them before ... Thanks

If your only concern is getting seats together I wouldn't bother with it. Unless you're among the last to board, I'd say you're almost guaranteed to find two adjacent seats somewhere. So just start queuing early.

we fly with them on average twice a year, one adult, one child. I've never paid for speedy boarding and my child is too old to get category A boarding. We've never had a problem getting 2 seats together on any of our flights with Easyjet.

Easyjet are also trialling allocated seating at no extra charge on some of their flights - you can check if your flight is included on their news webpage.

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately Easy Jet not trialling it at Manchester yet.

I know that if we pay the fee the return from Palma will be the usual free for all boarding, as always. This is why i'm reluctant to pay it.

I think we will risk it, it's not a long flight after all ... :)

Thank you for the information. We are excellent at early queuing, done it often enough over the years ... :);)

As someone else suggested, make sure you board early, queue early and you'll be fine. No need to pay for priority boarding. I fly with Ryanair a lot and would never dream of lining their pockets with more cash. Two of us always get a seat together because we don't leave it til late to get in the queue.

If you leave the Speedy Boarding until nearer the day of the flights the price seems to go down!!! That's what I always find...
  • How do you queue early when they do not put up where you are boarding from until the last minute? the number was always put up early but not now

it depends on the flight and the departure airport. At Luton last week we found the gate number being displayed about half an hour before boarding, and on our return from Paris CDG it was at least an hour before that it was displayed.

You stay aware, read the signs then run like h*ll.
