    so basiclly i want to know what i can do to get this sorted once and for all. I could complain to EDF again! but that wont get a unit here. And really its not EDF's fault. evan when edf tell the meter company that i have a medium preasure supply the equipment to complete the job

    EDF have a contract with you, you have no contract with their agents. So, the supplier has a duty of care when it comes to you & their agents actions.

    Ofgem & other industry bodies hold suppliers responsible for the actions if the agents.

    Raise it up a level to get it done at your convenience, not theirs. The complaint can cover the loss between tariffs and compensation where required.

    You've got to bare in mind that when their agents do a job or abort one, your supplier gets notified. So, did they ever call you to sort it out? If the answer is no, they haven't done that much really have they?...they've let you chase them.

    The refund for price difference is not much use right now since it needs doing again to cover you up to the date the meter is changed. Your account will be the same right now so you should see it hit your bill.
