Well they are slower then Perky he reckons he has had a barristers opinion and his contracts are valid????

"Combined Parking Solutions have referred this matter and received a barristers opinion and for this we are satisfied Combined Parking Solutiuons contracts with clients allow us the right to enforce parking charges".

But he doesn't want to post up that barrister's opinion on his website along with all his other legal stuff? Well, I am shocked.

Would that be because its the same barrister who wants to give me millions?

I remember a while ago myself and a couple of other hauliers wanted a barristers opinion on a council decision to put a weight limit on the road leading to our yards!

His first "opinion" was that he would charge us £6K to look at it and give us his opinion.

We didn't bother we all moved! :)

A thought: can we quote from his website on here?

Like a tree falling in a forest makes no noise if no-one hears it, is it in the public domain if no-one reads it? :)

I have emailed this to the BPA, wonder if they will bother to comment :

    Dear Mr

A Judge of the Upper Tribunal has confirmed that the Upper Tribunal was established under section 3 of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 as a superior court of record. Accordingly its decisions establish precedents which are binding on lower courts.

    Yours sincerely

BPA will say "we are looking into it".

Translation: We're desperately hoping the DVLA don't see it that way, otherwise there is no "reasonable cause" for them to release data, and our members' business model is in the toilet.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Has anyone contacted DVLA about this recently given this case?
