I couldn't see a thread already, and just sorting out the plan for next week, so thought I would get it started.
I am trying to use up freezer stuff, without refilling too much, but that is easier said than done sometimes, but I want to make room for a farm shop trip, which always involves purchasing a LOT of meat
Mo 25th – piri piri chicken, rice and veg
Tu 26th smoked haddock risotto with peas
We 27th baked indian-style rice
Th-28th tuna and sweetcorn pasta bake
Fr 29th catalan chicken, potatoes, veg
Sa 30th pork chops/escalopes, potatoes veg
Su 1st ham hock, home grown new potatoes, carrots, peas, mushroom and mustard sauce
(just as an aside-Sun 1st July!! Where did that come from?!)

Hi everyone and welcome Ruby
This week I have planned :
(on Sundays we have the dinner at lunchtime, then a tea of sandwiches or something-on-toast, carrot sticks, walnuts, raisins, and cake. Might make sultana + choc chip buns to use up Easter eggs, and hubby can take the rest for his breaktimes. I am also trying to use the slow cooker most days, as it is so easy to throw stuff in around 2:30 and not have to think about dinner again until I need to ladle it out  )
Breakfasts
Wholemeal toast with hm Sheese spread or peanut butter, or scones, or cereal and fruit, or vegan omelette (probs with added onion and piquante peppers to the mix) and brown sauce - yum! Plus fruit. Tea/coffee for us, soya milk for children.
Lunches
HM Sheese spread on wholemeal, pepper slices, fruit (apple, pear, kiwi or raisins), and a soya yoghurt.
Mine are more likely to be salads with rye crispbread. I also have some naughty halva cubes in the freezer so might indulge in one with a cuppa for afters.... needing those extra few calories at the mo
Teas
Crackers with peanut butter, carrot and/or pepper slices, fruit
Dinners
Sat: Penne Bolognese (slow cooker)
Sun: Cauliflower Sheese Pie, veg and gravy
Mon: Bean and Lentil Cottage Pie (slow cooker)
Tue: Chick Pea Korma with greens and poppadoms (slow cooker)
Wed: Hm Pizza with salad
Thu: Cottage Cobbler (slow cooker)
Fri: Tofu Veg + Noodle Stir Fry with Lemon and Nori
Suppers
The children have cup of soya milk, we have been having popcorn later on.
Hope you all have a great week xLove and compassion to all x0 -
