Pleased to find this thread up and running. :jSo determined to get organised food wise.

I defrosted my inside freezer today so I'm hopeful that I can keep things organised and not let it become the disorganised mess it usually becomes. I'm hopeless at meal planning. My mind seems to go blank when I try to meal plan and despite having a food shop today and a chest freezer in my garage full of food, I'm still struggling to work out what I want to eat!

will try to keep things simple. I will be back when I have routed through my outside freezer to see if there are any surprises/any inspiration of what I can have for tea....

Wow, another week of mealplans already. Thanks for starting the thread, Hotcookie. Here goes with what we're having this week:

Mon: Turkey Curry with Brown Rice
    Tues: Meaty Pasta
    Weds: Stir Fry
Thurs: Mini Toad in the Hole with Beans (going to try halving the sausages and using a muffin tin to bake them in - trying to cut down ;) )
Fri: Lighter Chilli with Potato Wedges
Sat: Black Bean Chicken with Noodles
Sun: Mexican Chilli Beef & Bacon Tortilla Pie

Trying to avoid snacks, but if we do need any there are some biscuits in the tin, and fruit in the bowl. Have a nice week, everyone.

    K xx

well nothing of interest jumped out at me when I investigated my chest freezer so have opted for ham, egg and sw chips for tea tonight! I suspect I shall have the same tomorrow. Tuesday its a quick weight watchers meal as don't have much time to cook anything before heading out to my SW class. Weds/Thurs/Friday undecided at the moment. Will have a think..... although saying that, Friday I fancy breaded chicken pieces and jackets plus the sweetcorn corbetts that appeared when sorting freezers out today!

We are trying to have a seriously cheap week this week so we are trying to only eat from the cupboards....

    Breakfasts
Homemade yogurt and tinned fruit (Me)
Porridge + choc powder or cereal (BF)

    Lunches
    Cereal (Me)
    Noodles (BF)

    Dinners:
Jerk Chicken + Baked Plantain with rice
Jacket Pots (with mince for BF, garlic butter for me)
    Spaghetti Bolognaise
Char Sui Pork, Veggies + Ginger Rice
    Savoury Pancakes
    Omelettes with any random veggies
    Pasta and sauce

I will have some tastier ideas next week!

Then I especially look forward to your ideas for next week if that is a bit boring/ not very tasty! (It looks very good to me!)
