Second hand convertible-any information?

In my mid 40's I am having a midlife "let's buy a convertible and feel the wind whistle through my hair" thought but my boring sensible brain is saying I am not being practical as we don't have a garage to house it in. I currently have a MX5 (old one bought for very little money) and it leaks like a sieve, but must admit, great fun to drive.
Best car I have ever owned (and I have had many) was a S2000, cant fault it!
