hello there
i recently claimed ppi from tsb visa but one thing i found strange is that they said that they only kept records for seven years so they would only pay me out on the last seven years.
i have owned the card since 1984 and i can still remember the 1st thing i purchased and it was a baby rocker from mothercare
any ideas what my next move would be
thanks steve

give them your statements (copies) and they will use those as evidence of the amounts you paid. If you dont have them and they dont have them then they can only pay what is provable.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If you still have the receipt for this send it to the Bank!i have owned the card since 1984 and i can still remember the 1st thing i purchased and it was a baby rocker from Mothercare
Seriously, 1984 is 28 years ago-do you really expect the Bank to keep records for that long? Even if they did, it would be unreasonable to expect a payout from that long ago.0
