The OP is capable of working but is not avaliable due to choice. For the OP it is the insurers definition of unemployed which is important.

Even that is argueable though. I've been on contributions bsed JSA and I certainly wasn't looking for work.

Think of it as a refund.

In your circumstances I retired at 35. My insurance company was quite happy with that description.
10 years later I un-retired, so I told them my new occupation.
