Car insurance job description help

Hi,
I've just read that car insurance quotes are much higher for the unemployed.
I am usually described as unemployed by the companies that give me quotes.
I don't think this quite fits the bill though, my situation is a little strange as I don't work and am therefore not employed, however I am not actually looking for a job at the moment, they sometimes suggest "homemaker" but can a single person be a homemaker? There does not appear to be a "not working" option.
Perhaps I'm wrong but unemployed in my mind conjurs up the impression of struggling (financially) etc...
Any advice on how I could descibe my situation? Or do I have to stick with unemployed.
Thanks

That would be the definition of jobseeker. Unemployed is not working but available to, which would seem to cover you.0 -
Some Insurers have "Independent Means" as a job description, however sometimes it can attract a loading as it includes trust fund posh people such as your Paris Hiltons0

Dacouch, perfect, "independant means" would cover the situation.
Oh well, not really sure which of homemaker, unemployed or independant means would attract the higher quote, perhaps I'll see if the same company would quote with all three...0
