Am looking at flights from Manchester to Venice next May, currently Jet 2 and Monarch are showing and coming up at £200 each, is it worth waiting a while to see if the prices come down? Was hoping to get a lot cheaper than that. Thank you

They are guaranteed to come down from that.0

Are you limited to specific days? Because I'm finding plenty of options in May with Jet2 around £100 return.0

Yes want to fly out on thurs 23rd and back on Saturday 1st June, going out isn't too bad it's coming back, just wondered if they start lowering their fares at all.0

Is it a school half term holiday in the north west that week?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Thanks for the info, may have to book at that price.0

Really, it depends on how risk aversive you are and how much time you are willing to invest in booking. May is a long time away and I'd say there's a good chance the price will come down at one point. However, you'd have to check prices fairly regularly and, of course, be prepared to take the risk that the price will only go up.
Keep an eye on BA as well unless you are absolutely opposed to a change of plane. They have pretty competetive prices to VCE, though they are also high at the moment.0 -
Could you not fly with Ryanair from East Midlands, its unlikely that you will find many £10 fares but it would certainly be less than £200 per person. Flights from Leeds end this October, but may be back next spring. Alternatively, Lufthansa is cheaper at £170 for those dates from Manchester via. Dussledorf, which includes 23kg luggage allowance per person, free seat reservations and inflight refreshments. The layover is just under 2 hours which will allow you to comfortably make the connection.0

Try LBA we usually get cheaper to Treviso, (which is an easy and convenient transfer to Venice) than that even in school hols.
We are flying LBA to Bergamo with Jet2 at the end of July for under £400 for three of us.0
