To be honest, I thought that maybe the quote would come in at around £500 so I was quite shocked at his price.

I would have paid £500 but not £800.

We intend leaving the analglypta on so that decorating in future will just be a fresh coat of emulsion and gloss.

Can't help with the quote, but your typo provided a whole different outlook on wallpapering.....maybe do it with Andrex instead?

I'm not being funny, but what YOU consider prepped, and what he considers prepped is probably a TOTALLY different thing altogether.

I don't care what anyone says. There's a lot more to paperhanging than anyone says. It's a definite art, I have no doubt about it.
