Macsweens haggis in this house  It slices and holds it shape very well if you want to freeze it.I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....0 -
Another vote for teh lidl one . Sainsbury's used to do a great, really peppery one but the y changed their supplier
i do my haggis in the slo cooker btw.Just call me Nodwah the thread killer0 -
I'm a fan of McSween's too, but the best haggis around is often found at your local butcher. We have three butchers here who all supply their own and I couldn't decide between them. The more peppery the better if you ask me. Yum!0

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
McSweens do a postal service - I live in Grtr Mcr and I ordered a HUGE one for burns night - served about 12 people.
You can get the smaller McSweens haggis from Costco too.
Try stuffing a wee bit haggis into a chicken breast, brown in a pan then cook in the oven for about 30 minutes. Delish with a whisky sauce.0 -

I have checked their website as I love haggis (dont get it here in Cornwall - wonder why???)
They have this window under 'important storage information'
"Important note on your haggis
Please note that you haggis has been despatched frozen and must be refrigerated upon receipt.
You must then use it within three weeks.
Under no circumstances can the haggis be refrozen.
Enjoy! "
Presumably this means not to freeze it if still raw?? Is it okay to freeze after cooking??
LGworking hard at this thing called life0 -
haggis is cooked what you are doing really is heating it up thats why using a micro works, so guess you shouldnt refreeze it at all0
