Moving home - Need to forward mobile number for a few days. Having problems

Hi there,

I'm moving home for in a few days to an area with no vodafone signal. (Its a pay monthly contract) I've got a sure signal mini cell but not having broadband installed for about 5 days after moving. Forwarding on my phone works fine to a land line and my partners orange phone.

I need to forward the calls to an o2 based payg company as there is definitely 02 signal.

I ordered a Giff Gaff sim and credited it. But for whatever reason when i forward calls to it from my phone doesn't work. Giff Gaff say they accept incoming forwards.

I don't want to keep buying sims and crediting them until i find one that works!

Does anyone know if Tesco Mobile accept incoming forwards? I know they don't do outgoing ones.

Or alternatively a straight 02 sim card?

I've already wasted a 5 on giff gaff credit for it not to work!

Not sure it will help, but I have a GiffGaff sim and it definitely accepts forwards from Orange and TalkMobile. Not sure why yours isn't.

Yeah it should be working. However have tried it on my sim along with a mates GG sim. Neither go through. Voda say its not them. And impossible to get an answer out of Giff Gaff agents.

I have an update!

The call forwarding works. However only from other mobiles. If someone calls my number from a BT landline. The line goes dead!
