The one for April was tweeted on 29th May, same day as it came out. The March one was the 1st May. Also the same day it came out. So believe you are spouting porkies here Hamish!
Would think someone has messed up.
Graham, stop being such an utter buffoon.
-Jan data was posted early on Twitter on 16th Feb. The release date for the full report was 28th Feb.

It's all right there..... On the Twitter feed, that you obviously didn't bother to read before making allegations of porkie's.:rotfl:“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

i think the most important thing is that it's 0.5% up.
not the timing of the announcement or the method. but divert away by all means

Ahh true. I did read it., but scrolling down it said "no more results to display".
However, having going back, it does display them all.
It's all a bit weird. Especially weird that you've never I assume picked up on this before
Spose the full HPI report just holds all the extra details so they can release the data early. Surely there are people like housebuilders waiing on this information though?0 -

The full report that they post must take a few days to put together so it seems reasonable to post the bottom line figure about a week before the full data set.
I wonder if they also publish early as an RNS? This number presumably could move share prices in builders and banks so is price sensitive information. I don't know the rules in enough detail to know the answer to that.0 -

This should be why they do it but in reality the thinking is probably "Look at this Twitter thing, what can we do with it?"The J is a Financial Advisor-This site doesn't check anyone's status and as such any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice. Maybe not to you.
But to the rest of us it's probably one of the most immature things we see constantly splattered over the forum. You don't make the person you are constantly going on at look silly doing this.0 -
Isn`t this the spring bounce as the last 2 months were down.0
