Thanks for all the replies everyone, re the wife, alittle while after I posted she apologized [\B]and said she was having a bad day (I have no idea why, she is a "lady who lunches"!) I think he had a word as he knew I was angry.
You sure she couldn't see what you were doing on the companies wireless network?
:rotfl:
Good for you x

I would ask if its possible to start a little later - say 9:30am if that helps to get to work on time. Also why do you stay so late ? Once you start doing that they will expect you to carry on. Make a point of leaving on time. If the work isnt done then either you are being given too much or the company need more staff. Its not right to sacrifice your wellbeing for somone else to reap the benefits. Have a word with your boss and explain that you cant keep staying late. As for the wife just ignore her she obviously had a bad day and reacted in a childish way.0

but cant?
Came in to have the boss's wife (who doesn't even work here!) say "You get paid from 0900-1730, he is thinking of docking your wages everytime your late you know" with a 'everyone else will think I'm joking but I am actually just being a b1tch' smile on her face.

Just tell her hubby is fine as long as you treat him nice and give her a little wink.
Should get her wondering about the state of her marriage and less about your hours.0
