me too, i am a carer to my daughter who is severely disabled, I spend a couple of hours comping hoping for a little break away somewhere which really does make such a difference in recharging the batteries etc. Having said that I also go the the gym, have my own business and two other kids so it really is an enjoyable hobby. Its also rather fun to have a moan about a dry spell (4 months for me) and to then see what happens lol No one on here has offended me with any comments, in fact you have all been rather lovely so make sure you all come back on this thread as soon as you have won something and we can see if this moaning works xx0

Can I please ask all losers to vacate the corner, it is officially mine:rotfl:I have lost count of the thousands of comps I have entered over the years. My last win was 2009, I regularly enter, I pay attention to t&c's, I thank posters, I check the enter box, I pray to the comping fairy and bear no grudge to winners (though do admit to being envious). I want the corner, I deserve the corner, I claim the corner.Member since Sept 2003, been comping seriously since 2004 and so far have won.........
A book (which never arrived) a Rugby ball (mother of three girls) and a cheque for £50. In 2009 my (one and only) win An Avatar goody bag (thanks to weeowen67) since then nothing. Come on Comping Fairy surely I deserve a little luck?0 -
I've had a bit of a dry spell - but when I first used to do comps, I did everyone going - whether I wanted the prize or not. Just to get a win - & I did - loads of dvds etc etc. (I was very lucky, & won quite a few decent prizes as well). What I didn't want I gave away, or occasionally sold. Now, I only enter for things I really want, & there aren't too many of them - although still too many to keep up with. Plus of course the odds of winning now are not as good, as there are many more people doing them, & the better the prize the more people enter.
I am taking a bit of a rest from them again for a few months, as we are going travelling again soon.
If anyone is out of the country & still wants to do a few (so long as you have a UK home address - download Expatshield - it gives you a UK ip address, so sites don't identify you as being out of the country & stop you from entering. It also means you can watch BBC iplayer or ITV instead of saying you're not allowed to watch them so long as you are in a WIFI spot..0 -
I have been comping since January and haven't won anything other than one packet of crisps. I enter about 100 a week!0

well reading some of the comments here, i think i have been luckier than a few and love my little wins, but waiting patiently for that big one! I have had a little break from comping lately but am now back! just wondering how anyone tries to keep on top of all the comps? I know if i miss a day I can never catch up so then do a search for comps offering prizes of what i really want to win, eg dubai, caravan, ipad etc etcJust about to give up!0

glad I am not alone, been entering comps since Jan for 2 hours a day, couple of wins. My last one arrived a couple of weeks ago (worth £50), got very excited only to get a "very sorry I sent the prize to the wrong person, please forward or pay for it" e-mail. Now more downhearted than before !0
