Pads or rollers for the walls.

Is there much difference in paint coverage between the 2? i.e. does the paint go as far with both methods?0

Touch up with a brush, then go over with a good mini roller (no need to dip it in the paint) to get a seamless finish. I had to touch up some areas including a water stain, and you can't see where I did it. If you've run out of paint, just buy a sampler.

That's a really good tip. Many thanks. I made matters worse by going over with roller (that I had to buy). I'm just going to wait for expert to put it right & then keeping well away from walls.
