Quite possibly the last time I actually brought "durable" Wickes paint was early 2010.

I'll try Diamond or soft sheen next time.

Dulux Diamond Matt is the worst paint i've ever used. Mainly because its so expensive and is in no way, shape or form 'scrubable'. You can gently wipe with a very soft cloth but thats it. Any more and it will shine and half the time the mark never comes off anyway.

The other thing is it marks so easily it's ridiculous. You only have to look at it the wrong way and it it marks. We painted our hallway with it and in the few months we've had it on there are about 5 times as many marks as the previous 18 months with whatever matt paint was on there before.

I have noticed no difference with regards to wipe or scrubability between this and Dulux Vinyl Matt. The only difference i can see is the Diamond Matt is slightly shinier.

    Extremely disappointed.

They have a few shops around in Scotland I have found them great and the guy in Paisley keeps me right and tells me when I'm being a plonker.

Interestingly they sell on EBay sometimes too and that is done out of the Paisley outlet. Could be worth a phone and you will get it straight .

    :)
