Hi everyone! This is my first time posting, I have been following mse forums for a couple of months now and already cleared a chunk from all the tips and advice.
Please put me down for £1181.79.
Good luck everyone! :j0 -
The challenge starts tomorrow everyone. good luck in clearing your debts and reaching those targets. No matter how much you clear, it will be an accomplishment.
Lets make the most of these 100 days.
Any newbies are welcome to join in.PAD Maker0 -
What's about setting a small target, and later on, once achevied, set another one?
I'm mulling that over.
In theory, £100 a month out of my salary means I only need to find an extra £100 to hit the £500.
In practise, I have to make sure that I don't leave myself too short (although given I tend to waste £150 a month on non-essentials...) and just end up sticking stuff on the CC.
Once I get the OD down to £1200 (from £1500), I'll be going into credit every month when I get paid. I think that will be the turning point for me0 -
Hi Amara
Please count me in. I fell off the wagon during the last challenge, so need to try a bit harder this time.
Please put me in for £200.

Can I join in please. I want to be rid of my overdraft which is £1000. I have tried before and failed miserably but I really need it to go.0

That's what's bothering me. I'm going to aim for £500 off my [STRIKE]credit card[/STRIKE] overdraft.
Last time I joined this challenge I set a silly target for myself and started the challenge telling myself I wouldn't do it and I didn't even try because it just felt too much. I know some for people the bigger the challenge the higher the motivation but it doesn't work for me. This time I've worked out a realistic target and also how I'll achieve it which I didn't do last time so I know I'll make it :j Good luck everyone

Seashell we all work differently. Like you said for some people a bigger target= bigger motivation. For others a big target is just setting themselves up for failure. The trick is to know what kind of person you are nd what motivates you and working to your strengthsGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
