    Morning everyone,

    Belated happy anniversary Hester.

    BB the pub sounds great.

RR well done to OH on the job(s).

    nmlc hugs.

Another beautiful day, wish it would last till the weekend. I managed to peg out a load of washing before I came to work. There is another load in the machine, I wonder if DS will manage to peg it out?!

Tonight I am off to the dentists to get a broken tooth mended, I am not looking forward to that but it really needs doing and then I have a lot of "Mum's taxi" things to do.

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

    morning all!

    belated Happy Anniversary HH:beer:

BB - :D at the naturists - too cold to even think of taking your clothes off I reckon!

RR - well done to your DD for getting another job offer:T

spoke to my friend yesterday -her 17 year old nephew died suddenly earlier in the year - it would have been his 18th later this week and his parents are struggling terribly - those of you who pray please say one for them as they are talking of killing themselves as they have nothing left to live for. It is so sad for all of the family and my heart goes out to them.

OS - have tackled DS2s room this morning - it was dire - he should do it himself but I am fed up of waiting and his GF has just been diagnosed with Asthma so cant be spending time in his dusty tip of a room! It was very theraputic actually seeing it clean for a change:D

Off to work later. WM on its second load - the other pair of lounge curtains. Jusr need to run the vac round downstairs now.
DH will feed himself tonight - I'm having mine at work.

My art class exhibition started yesterday - although the glass got broken somehow on one of mine so its got to be repaired. Some friends emailed to say they'd been and photographed it all:)

Have a great day all and enjoy the sunshine while you can x

    Morning,

Do you mind if I join you please? I tend to read this thread every day but just haven't joined because I don't have much to say.

But, I'm feeling a bit put down this morning because last week I asked for advice about electrics on another forum and because I managed to do it myself mse, was knocked back because I did. I felt quite pleased with myself up to today as well because I managed to save money and still did the job safely. Oh well. :(

I'm at work at the mo, brought in my ryvita and salad for lunch as I'm trying to follow sw since Monday. (its not working as I'm always hungry as well) :o

I left DD2 in bed as per usual as she has finished school now and I'm hoping she will wash the pots for me. I hung two loads of washing out as the sun is fab here today using my hm gloop and DD3 has gone to school.

I watered my toms and radishes this morning and rebagged one of my pot carrier bags. I only set my radishes at the weekend when I found some old seeds and they've grown already, the poor seeds must have been desperate for some soil and water I think.

I'm going to try a hm burger out the freezer for tea with new pots and peas & sweetcorn. I made them myself but haven't tried them yet so no idea what they will taste like. Fingers crossed. :)

Have a good day to all.

    Morning everybody,
Sounds like the weather is pretty good everywhere.Got another 2 loads on the line, and next I'm doing the dog blankets.Might have to turf Leodog off first;).We saw a lovely English Bullterrier puppy out on our walk yesterday and today, only 14 weeks old, very friendly.Luckily he was on the other side of the cricket field fence ,otherwise Leo would have done one of his famous prances and pulled me over.As it was they wagged and sniffed happily through the fence-they looked so funny one being so tiny and the other so large :rotfl:

Taplady-thats so sad for the family :(
I actually did the same as you yesterday as both sons were out of the way-they do tidy now and again, but the only dusting that goes on is what they can hoover up.They're quite happy with that state of affairs(don't think they even notice tbh),but I like to wipe windows and ledges etc now & then,so am quite pleased with the house at the mo.

I was shattered yesterday as I was in the garden, mowed front and back and did loads of weeding and cutting hedges.I could do more chopping later, but I have 3 pairs of linen trousers to take up(got in the closing down sale last year)Even though I like sewing ,I hate doing little jobs like that.See what I feel like later.
Turkey steaks out for tea,so very quick to cook, with salad.Might do a potato and egg salad.
Nmlc, sorry the hassle has started, you hear it so often of people appearing if they think there is something in it for them.
    BB-:rotfl:
    Take care everybody x

    morning all

havent posted for a while as not a lot of os happening... have been lurking on and off trying to keep up with everyones news. my mind has gone blank thanks to bbirds streakers :rotfl:

in cleaning mode today. kitchen is spotless, and so is the the bathroom. two loads of washing done. more to do though. had a disaster yesterday. the hose from the washing machine came out of the waste pipe. cue one wet kitchen cupboard and floor. thankfully hubby is working from home and was able to sort it. not sure i would have fitted under the cupboard to get to it if not :rotfl:

spag bol for dinner tonight. lunch will be whatever goes in a sandwiche or soup.

other than that bump is growing well. has been extremely active at night *sighs*. i've had a UTI and few other probs so meant to be resting and taking things easy but the urge to clean is getting to me today lol. i have only done things i can manage though. just another 16 weeks to go. its flying by.

anyway enough waffle. hugs to all who need/want them :)

Welcome ally  We are not like the other boards we are a friendly bunch on here. Well done on solving the electrical problem os style :T
    taplady how awful ((((Hugs))))
Didn't post yesterday, DH's Aunt died she was twenty years younger than his Dad who is in a terrible state.
That is the second time I have seen DH cry in four weeks and it really upsets me to see him like that. I have only ever seen him cry five times in 25 years. When his Nan died, when our children were born, when we lost our Boxy and now his Aunt. I will never get used to it. This has been a bad couple of months for us and I will be glad to see the back of May/June
:( Sorry for another down beat post.

I going down to town in a little while because I need to get some bits from the market.

(((Hugs))) to all who need one x

    Afternoon from me too,

bit late posting but ive been busy. Just the usual house type stuff but ive been in the greenhouse too.

Ive washed the bedding (as per usual for a Wednesday) but ive washed the duvet and the pillows too so my washer has been on all day.

I managed to dry it all outside too which was a bonus.

Greenhouse plants are taking off after a sad and miserable start. I think we will be concentrating on salad stuffs next year. The flowers havent done too well and neither have the strawberries. They certainly aint worth the space in the greenhouse anyway. I am also trying to propergate some honeysuckle off the main plant. The clematis died and i need something to take its place.

Son is doing the tea tonight so it will be something with chips.:D
